Festival CoordinatorAt this past year’s Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank, more than the balloons rose to the occasion. Kaitlyn Manning, who had been interning at the Festival following her graduation from college, stepped into a new role as Festival Coordinator the day before the event took off. She performed so well that we’ve taken away her internship and had her join the ranks of the working world as our full-time Festival Coordinator. Her primary responsibilities now include balloon operations, hotel and hospitality coordination, managing the internship program, facilitating our web site, and as she did so admirably last summer, managing the Festival’s on-site staff. A recent graduate of Towson University where she earned her B.S. degree in Public Relations and Psychology, Kaitlyn’s experience in event planning, corporate marketing and customer service will continue to be a welcome addition to the Festival. Her previous experience includes her work at Towson, Assistance in Marketing, and Raymour & Flanigan Furniture.
