BALLOON FESTIVAL SEEKS TO HELP OUT LOCAL NON-PROFIT GROUPS

READINGTON, NJ — The 34th annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank is seeking to help out local civic, school, and non-profit groups and volunteer organizations that are need of a fundraising event.

Groups may take on a particular Festival function and supply needed manpower to help produce the annual three day Festival. In turn, they can receive a financial donation, as well as admission tickets and other possible benefits. Opportunities vary depending on the size, capabilities and experience of the organization.

“We provide opportunities for groups to raise much needed funds while also having fun and being part of this great family-oriented festival,” said Festival Executive Producer Howard Freeman.

Freeman noted the event has raised more than $2.55 million for a variety of non-profit groups, charities and children’s specialized hospitals the past 23 years.

The 34th annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America. The three-day Festival, July 29-30-31, 2016 at Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ, features twice a day mass ascensions of 100 hot air balloons from around the world, a live concert series, fireworks, a nighttime balloon glow, children’s amusement rides, family attractions and entertainment, and hundreds of crafters and food vendors.
