Actor James Earl Jones has been nominated for an Academy award and has won Emmy and Tony awards for his work on television and on the stage. Known for his deep basso voice and numerous voice-overs (“This is CNN,” NBC’s coverage of the Olympics, and in The Lion King movies), he also provided the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies.
