Bridgewater Commons, Balloon Festival Offer Children A Vip Experience

OFFER CHILDREN A VIP EXPERIENCE

READINGTON, NJ — The Bridgewater Commons shopping mall is offering children the unique experience of being part of the action at this year’s 32nd annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, July 25-26-27, 2014 at Solberg Airport in Readington.

Bridgewater Commons is once again sponsoring the Festival’s Kid’s Club, which allows children ages 12 and under to get up-close-and-personal with over 100 hot air balloons. Each member of the Kid’s Club will receive one children’s general admission ticket to the Festival, an exclusive Kid’s Club t-shirt, the opportunity to attend a hot air balloon tutorial with an official pilot, and an official membership card.

The three day Festival features twice a day mass ascensions of 100 sport and special shaped hot air balloons from around the world, live concerts, and 39 hours of non-stop, affordable family entertainment.

Highlights include a nighttime balloon glow where balloons are inflated and lit up while tethered on the ground, a fireworks display, the Advil® Running with the Balloons 5K race and Family Fun Run, death-defying aerial acts by high diver Yves Milord, children’s amusement rides, interactive exhibits including the New Jersey Hall of Fame and PlayStation’s Road to Greatness Tour, and hundreds of crafters and food vendors, many of who give out free samples when you stop by their booths.

“It’s all about the children,” said Festival Executive Producer Howard Freeman. “We created our Kid’s Club to make their Festival experience even more memorable. Bridgewater Commons offers unique shopping, dining and entertainment happenings. Together, we can provide another wonderful new experience as we introduce children to the magic of ballooning.”
