Dazzling Drones Light Show

New for 2023!!!

After our Friday and Saturday night concerts, festival-goers will be dazzled by an arial light show that chronicles the 40 year history of the festival and all the wonders of ballooning. At approximately 9:15PM on Friday AND Saturday, 300 drones will ascend into the air to perform an intricately coordinated light show. A feat of communication, networking, connectivity and design, drones are an increasingly more responsible alternative to traditional fireworks displays.

For 2023, in honor of our 40th Anniversary, we have chosen to replace our single night of fireworks with a two-night drone experience, enhancing the guest experience and further emphasizing our commitment to explore new ways of reducing our environmental impact. Bottomline…we are all in for a new treat!
