FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

 

This year’s 27th annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank offers 39 hours of family entertainment over 3 days beginning Friday afternoon, July 24. Festival hours are Friday, July 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, July 25 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, July 26 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

Here are some of the highlights you won’t want to miss:

 

Friday, July 24

1:00 p.m. — Festival gates open!

6:30 p.m. — First mass inflation and mass hot air balloon ascension scheduled with up to 125 sport and special shaped balloons!

8:00 p.m. — New Jersey Skylands Insurance Companies present Al Jardine’s Endless Summer Band

9:30 p.m. — Fireworks Extravaganza

 

Saturday, July 25

6:00 a.m. — Festival gates open

6:30 a.m. — Mass hot air balloon inflation and ascension

1:00 p.m. — One Call meet-and-greet; concert 2:15 p.m.

3:00 p.m. — Disney’s Meaghan Martin presented by Fing’rs Edge in association with 1560AM Radio Disney

6:30 p.m. — Mass hot air balloon inflation and ascension

8:00 p.m. — Kool & The Gang’s 40th Anniversary Celebration concert in association with NJ101.5 and in conjunction with the Balloon Glow

 

Sunday, July 26

6:00 a.m. — Festival gates open

6:30 a.m. — Mass hot air balloon inflation and ascension in conjunction with Acoustic Sunrise yoga

3:00 p.m. — PNC Bank presents Grammy winner Michael McDonald

6:30 p.m. — Final mass hot air balloon inflation and ascension

 

All mass hot air balloon activity is wind and weather permitting.

General admission to concerts is free to Festival attendees.
