Balloon Festival Offers Photo Contest: Winner Receives Free Ride, Chance to Be on Commemorative Poster

For Immediate Release BALLOON FESTIVAL OFFERS PHOTO CONTEST WINNER RECEIVES FREE RIDE, CHANCE TO BE ON COMMEMORATIVE POSTER READINGTON, NJ — Did you capture the spirit of the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning on camera? If you did, you can submit your photos for a chance to win a free hot air balloon ride for two and have your creative shot be part of the Festival’s 2013 commemorative poster. The 31st annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America and one of the most photographic events on the East Coast. The Festival is seeking photos that best capture the spirit of the majesty of ballooning, interesting angles, unique points of view and cool compositions. The Grand Prize is a free hot air balloon ride for two at this summer’s upcoming Festival, July 26-27-28, 2013 at Solberg Airport in Readington; a Canon EOS Rebel T3 digital camera courtesy of Unique Photo; and the winner’s photo featured on the Festival’s 2013 commemorative poster.  Twenty runner-ups will receive a $20 gift card to Unique Photo in Fairfield, New Jersey’s largest camera store; and a free general admission ticket to this year’s Festival. “We know that tens of thousands of cameras are capturing the magic of ballooning during each of our daily mass hot air balloon ascensions. We feel this is great way for our attendees to share their experiences and truly be part of this year’s Festival,” said Howard Freeman, the Festival’s Executive Producer. Contestants can enter as many photos as they like but must submit each photo individually. Photos can be from any year of the Festival.
