Festival Highlights And Attractions

This year’s 25th annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in association with PNC Bank offers 39 hours of family entertainment over 3 days beginning Friday afternoon, July 27. Festival hours are Friday, July 27 from 1:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.; Saturday, July 28 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, July 29 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

Here are some of the highlights you won’t want to miss:

 

Friday, July 27

1:00 p.m. — Festival gates open!

6:30 p.m. — First mass inflation and mass hot air balloon ascension scheduled featuring up to 125 sport and special shaped balloons!

8:00 p.m. — Chuck Negron formerly of Three Dog Night in concert

8:00 p.m. — Comcast and Turner Classic Movies present a Movie Under the Stars: “The Wizard of Oz”

9:30 p.m. — Bridgewater Marriott Fireworks Extravaganza

 

Saturday, July 28

6:00 a.m. — Festival gates open

6:30 a.m. — Mass hot air balloon ascension

3:00 p.m. — Teen sensations Jonas Brothers in concert in association with Radio Disney 1560

4:00 p.m. — Jonas Brothers meet and greet their fans!

6:30 p.m. — Mass hot air balloon ascension

8:00 p.m. — Blues Traveler in concert in association with WPLJ 95.5 in conjunction with the New Jersey Office of Travel & Tourism Balloon Glow

 

Sunday, July 29

6:00 a.m. — Mass hot air balloon ascension

3:00 p.m. — PNC Bank presents Creedence Clearwater Revisited in concert in association with NJ101.5

6:30 p.m. — Final mass hot air balloon ascension

 

all mass hot air balloon ascensions are wind and weather permitting

general admission to concerts on the Bud Light Stage is free to Festival attendees
