PNC & Quick Chek NJ Festival of Ballooning’s Flag Day

PNC and the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning brought the PNC American Flag balloon, the world’s largest free-flying American flag (53 feet tall, 78 feet wide), to Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ on Monday, June 14, to honor America on Flag Day. The special shaped balloon, a crowd favorite at the Festival, attracted international media attention and was inflated and flown as part of a 4-hour live telecast on FOX-TV’s Good Day New York morning news show. Festival executive producer Howard Freeman and PNC Regional President Linda Bowden were interviewed throughout the morning during this annual event. The PNC American Flag will be one of 125 sport and special shaped balloons from around the world at the Festival next month, July 23-25.
